Connie Cox, R.N.C.
is a graduate of the
University of Pennsylvania. During her 21 years
as a practicing R.N., she began to expand her
role as "nurse healer". She joined the American
Holistic Nurses Association and then augmented
her R.N. degree by attending the Barbara
Brennan School of Healing (BBSH), graduating from the
4-year program as a certified Energy Healer, and
completed the 2-year Advanced Studies Program.
Continuing her studies, Connie took additional
training through the Colorado Center for Healing
Touch, and became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner.
Combining both approaches of energy healing,
Connie works with the subtle nature of a person's
being; that is, parts of the anatomy, which are
invisible to the naked eye. These parts include
the energy field, the meridians, and the chakra
system, all of which exist for every person, and
all of which can be influenced and directed
through Healing Touch therapy.
Some of the
observable and proven results include inducing
the relaxation response, reducing pain, reducing
swelling and inflammation, promoting the
healing of wounds (especially valuable following
medical and surgical procedures), and helping
people cope much more effectively with the
stressful feelings that occur with career changes,
divorce, death of others, and dying.
Energy Healing is a rapidly growing field, which will play a significant role in the future of Health Care.
